On my daily walk up the thyme clad hill, keeping a close eye on how the wild asparagus are doing, I couldn't help picking some wild flowers. Walking up the hill is not as easypeasy as it may look. When I reached the top, I was happy to have brought som sticky fried garlicky tomato and tuna pasties, empanaditas and a cold beer. Pure bliss. Overlooking the both seas on this clear day I was not only enjoying the views over the shores of the lagoon Mar Menor but also able to see a glimpse of the Med.On my way down (way less exhausting) I picked some thyme and remembered to add to my marinade with pieces of chicken fillets ready for the BBQ. What a summery feeling, a bunch of wild flowers, the BBQ and baby stems of wild asparagus and a jug of tinto de verano, summer wine!
